ClarisImpact Gradients Appear Jagged at Extreme Zoom Levels

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
Gradients drawn in certain models display more jagged than other objects when viewed at high zoom percentages. Those objects are displayed as PICT objects, displayed on-screen by the QuickDraw display engine rather than the ClarisImpact display engine.

To see the problem:
1. Create a Pie Chart.
2. Fill one of the slices with a gradient.
4. View the edge of the slice with the gradient at 3200%.

The gradient will print properly.
