ClarisImpact does not support having two Manager positions at the top of an Organization Chart hierarchy. However, it is sometimes desirable to create such a chart, especially in situations where an individual might report to two managers.
To create this chart, you can try any of these four techniques:
- Create a Manager Element Style that is transparent and use the next level of positions down to start the managers.
- Select Manager from the Organization Chart menu to create a new stand-alone Manager in the current Organization Chart, then manually draw a line between the Worker and the new Manager so that it appears that the Worker reports to two Managers.
- Create the Managers as parts of different frames and overlay the two Organization Charts.
- Ungroup the Chart, so that it is no longer a model frame, but a group of graphic objects, and add any objects you want. The disadvantage to this method is that you lose your Organization Chart tools.
