Normally when the Paper Size or Scaling Percentage (%) is changed in Page Setup the document changes on screen so that you can visualize what will eventually print. Paper Size and Scaling Percentage changes do not change on screen when using the StyleWriter, StyleWriter II or Apple Color print drivers with ClarisImpact. Even though ClarisImpact will not show any visible changes on the screen, printout will be reduced or enlarged to meet your Page Setup scaling specifications.
All other print drivers will correctly display any changes to Scaling Percentage on screen and printout. The ClarisImpact Development team is aware of this issue.
Easy steps to reproduce issue:
1. Create a new Drawing document.
2. Zoom down to 25%.
3. Choose a LaserWriter driver from the Chooser.
4. Change the Page Setup Scale percent to 50%.
Notice that the document size changes.
Now repeat the above steps but change step 3 so that you are using a StyleWriter driver instead. Notice that the Page Size does not change. Again, this issue is only visual. Printing the document will result in a document 50% smaller.
