ClarisWorks and ClarisImpact: Sixteen Color Setting in Monitors Causes the Highlight Color to Become Corrupt

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
How to recreate the issue:

1. Under the Control Panels, select Color, and choose Purple as the Highlight color.
2. Also under the Control Panels, select Monitors and reset to sixteen colors.
3. Open or go to ClarisWorks or Claris Impact.

Workaround:
1. Set your highlight color to either the Yellow or Grey setting in the Color Control Panel's menu OR
2. Select "Other" from the menu and then select a color in the OUTER ring of the color wheel.

NOTE: This occurs in ClarisImpact 1.0, ClarisWorks 2.0 and 2.1. It does not occur in ClarisWorks 1.0.
