You may see VERY wide spacing (1/8 to 1/3") between characters when you print from ClarisImpact if you are using an old version of the Hewlett-Packard DeskWriter driver. Upgrading to anything beyond 2.x will fix this issue.
A temporary workaround until you obtain a new driver from HP is to copy and paste your work into a new ClarisWorks document. Print from the new document.
To get the current HP Driver, you can do any one of the following:
- Call the HP Driver Update number directly at 303 353-7650.
- Fax your request to 303 335-7655 Specify the driver version you are currently using, your printer name and type, your name address and daytime phone number.
- Use the "HP First" Fax answer line (similar to ours). It can Fax you back a driver request form - call it at 800 333-1917 with your Fax number ready to key in.
