ClarisImpact: Creating Conditional Loops using the Flow Chart

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
It is possible to create a conditional loop using a Flow Chart, but you cannot do it with the Add Element controls (the arrows that appear when you click on a Symbol).

To add the arrow between the Symbol titled "1D" and the Symbol titled "1A" it is necessary to draw the connector manually. Follow the steps below:

1. Click on the Symbol until the Add Element controls appear
2. Click and hold down in the center of that Symbol.
3. Drag to the center of the Symbol you want to connect.

The connector created will be just like the connectors created with the Add Element controls.

This solution will not work with an Organization Chart.
