Pasting or Placing a Shape Tool object with a white fill from Impact into PageMaker shows fine on-screen but prints with a black fill.
Shape Tools include any shape from the last palette on the Tool Panel such as the five 5-point star.
Solution:
When in PageMaker, hold down the Option key while choosing Print from the File menu. This will override the Aldus printer drivers and use the Apple Printer drivers instead.
This is a problem with at least PageMaker 4.2. Aldus representatives have reported that PageMaker 5.0 has changed some of their print drivers, but it is unknown if this fixes the problem. PageMaker 3.0 users can change to an Apple Print Driver through the Print dialog box.
