New Electronic Help Features

ClarisImpact and ClarisDraw introduce a new Help System with many advantages.

Searching results in a list of areas where the keyword was located rather than the old way of locating the first occurrence and showing that area of Help. Thus, searching should be much more efficient.

The interface has been improved. Color and graphics have been added. The Help window can be enlarged to any size.

Your own notes can now be added to the Help System to facilitate the learning process.

A Hot Key links Balloon Help and the Help System. Turn Balloon Help on, point at something so that a Help Balloon appears and then type the Help key from the keyboard (if you have an extended keyboard). Help will automatically be opened to the section related to that balloon.

It is possible to print any section of Help.

Words in blue text can be clicked on to pop-up more information regarding them. This can be very helpful when the definition of a word is covered in another section but you cannot remember the definition in this section.


In addition, the new online help system introduced with ClarisImpact and ClarisDraw contains many of the step-by-step instructions found in the User's Guide, which effectively guides you through a procedure. Pictures are included to make examples very easy to follow. The Troubleshooting section, which contains commonly asked questions, such as "How do I..." or "What happens when I...." will probably answer many of your questions. A Glossary of terms provides definitions to all the terminology that may be new to you.
