Demo Disk and XTND issues after Install Full Version

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
The demo disk for ClarisImpact installs the Claris XTND System and several translators into the ClarisImpact demo folder. This could cause issues if the customer eventually purchases the product since that copy of the Claris XTND System and the translators will still be on the computer.

Possible symptoms:

1. "XTND Not Found" message when try ing to translate.

2. The full translator list may not be available but everything seems to be installed correctly.

Solution:
The Read Me file that ships with the Demo disk mentions that all files that came with the demo disk must be removed from your hard drive before installing the full version. This should avoid most XTND issues.
