Question:
When I run the installer for ClarisWorks 2.1v3, it doesn't ever ask me for Disk 3. Is there a problem?
Answer:
Disks for ClarisWorks 2.1v3 include both versions of ClarisWorks (the one for a regular Macintosh and the "native" one, which is optimized for the Power Macintosh). The Installer automatically checks which type of a Macintosh it is installing onto and intelligently chooses which version of the program to install.
When installing on a regular Macintosh, all of the files required for installation are contained on Disk 1 and Disk 2. Consequently, an installation onto a non-Power Macintosh will NOT prompt you to insert Disk 3 during the install process. This is perfectly normal. The only files on Disk 3 are those used when installing on a Power Macintosh.
