Claris Applications: Palatino Font Clipping when Printing

eWorld 1.0 (a software application for accessing eWorld, an online service from Apple) installs a different version of the Palatino font.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
The eWorld 1.0 Installer disk places a TrueType Palatino font suitcase into the System during the course of the installation. Unfortunately, the font is corrupt, and the inter-character spacing is different than the spacing of the Palatino font that is replaced. This will result in text clipping in any documents that had been previously created using the system installed Palatino font. Apple Computer is aware of this problem.

The only workaround is to reinstall the old Palatino font.
