Problem:
ClarisWorks recognizes that certain files are QuickTime movies, but it doesn't display the little filmstrip badge and won't play them. There is no movie info item in the Options menu.
Solution:
When using QuickTime movies in applications that have been optimized to run in "native" mode on the Power Macintosh, you must have the "QuickTime Power Plug" Extension in the System Folder, Extensions Folder. If you do not have this Extension in your Extensions folder, simply reinstall it from your Macintosh System disks.
It should be noted that a standard, as Installed, System for the Power Macintosh includes all this properly installed. The QuickTime Power Plug enabler is necessary for any native applications that want QuickTime support, but it is not necessary for non-native applications to use QuickTime.
