ClarisDraw: Hiding Segments of a Polygon or Bezigon

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
This hidden feature in ClarisDraw allows you to change polygon or bezigon segments to a transparent fill.

1. Create a polygon or bezigon (in this example a 5-pointed star).
2. Select the star with the Arrow tool.
3. Choose Reshape from the Arrange menu.
4. Click on the end or the beginning of the segment you want to hide.
5. Press the Caps Lock key down.
6. Command-Control-Shift-Click the other end of the segment.

To show a hidden segment just repeat the steps above. If you want to hide more than one segment at a time then change step 4 so that you are Shift-Clicking multiple segments.
