Installation Crashing on a Power Macintosh

Due to differences in memory management between the Power Macintosh and earlier Macintosh computers, it may be necessary to increase the RAM allocation to the Installer application in order to successfully install applications on a Power Macintosh. As a general rule, try doubling the allocation listed in the Preferred size box in the Get Info window.
