Foreign File Format on Single Sided Disks

If you save a document from ClarisWorks and other programs in a generic file format like DBF, DIF, PICT, etc. onto a single sided disk ClarisWorks will not open these documents from the disk. If you copy these documents to your hard drive ClarisWorks will open the files without any problems.
