When printing ClarisWorks documents to the following Canon printers, the following issues may be encountered:
Canon LBP 430 :
When using this printer with the 1MB memory which comes built-in, you will get an error when printing large documents (300KB or bigger in file manager) because the printer needs more memory. Upgrading the printer memory to 5MB will eliminate any issues with printing large and small ClarisWorks documents. Canon technical support is aware of this issue and has told Claris Software Quality Assurance that more memory is needed to print documents larger than 300K.
Canon BJ 600c:
When printing large pictures in ClarisWorks documents with the printer option "Screen Matched Color" selected in Print Setup, there may be some white lines going across the graphic.
To correct this issue, set the color option in the Print Setup dialog to "Print Color" from the combo box, instead of the default "Screen Matched Color".
A rotated transparent text frame with a white background will sometimes print with a light grid pattern as the background color. To correct this issue, fill the frame with white color before rotating.
