Q. Is there a keyboard shortcut for inserting a page break in a ClarisWorks Word Processing document or a ClarisImpact Report document?
A. You can insert a page break in a word processor document by going to the Format Menu and selecting "Insert Break" - a process that is cumbersome and too slow for most of us ( for ClarisImpact choose Insert Break from the Text menu).
Fortunately, there is a keystroke shortcut: Just press the Enter Key on the numeric keypad. ClarisWorks nd ClarisImpact will insert a page break below the text you were typing and will put the cursor on the new page. To delete the page break, put the insert cursor in front of the first character on the new page and press the Delete Key.
Note that the page break feature does not work when preparing spreadsheet, database, or graphics documents. In these cases, the Enter Key activates a cell, enters a database record, or completes a text entry, respectively.
