ClarisDraw: Gradients Print With Little "X" Marks or Imperfections

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
If you copy an object filled with a gradient from ClarisDraw and paste into another program such as Microsoft Word or MacWrite Pro, then print with the LaserWriter 7.0 driver, your gradient will have little "X" marks on parts of the gradient (they may look like little imperfections).

Workarounds:
1. Use the LaserWriter 8.0 driver (preferably 8.1.1 or later).
2. Save from ClarisDraw to EPSF format and then import into your other program.
