This requires a Macintosh with a SuperDrive, Apple's PC Exchange Control Panel, and Apple's ProDOS Extension (With System 7.5 or later the ProDOS Extension is not needed). The Claris translators and the XTND System files must be in the Claris folder in the System Folder. Once the software is properly installed, restart your machine. Then, whenever you insert an Apple II disk, the disk icon will have a "II" (Roman numeral 2) on it.
Translating these files to ClarisWorks at this point is the same as translating files from other applications. If everything is properly installed, you can then drag and drop the AppleWorks document icons on the icon for ClarisWorks. Another way would be to open up ClarisWorks and choose Open under the File menu. If you already have a file open, you can also choose Insert from the File menu.
