Some MacDraw II or MacDraw Pro documents with high-resolution bitmapped objects in them (such as 300 DPI scans) may not retain this high bitmap resolution when the file is converted to ClarisDraw format. The bitmapped image may convert at 72 DPI. This happens with only a small minority of these files. Currently, it is not known how to determine the low probability that a file will be affected.
If this occurs, the best workaround is to first save the drawing as PICT from MacDraw II or MacDraw Pro, then open that PICT file in ClarisDraw. The high resolution of the bitmapped image will be retained.
