Introduction Will Not Launch on Black and White Macintosh

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
The Introduction to ClarisWorks may not launch on a black and white Macintosh if you first install it on a color Macintosh and then drag copy it to the black and white Macintosh. The ClarisWorks Installer is intelligent and determines what kind of Macintosh you are installing onto so as to install the version of the Introduction that matches your screen.

The error message you will get is, "Wrong color resolution: Syncronicity: Desktop Folder: Claris_Cwks Preview: Cwks Intro_Final: Cwks".

The solution is to use your original ClarisWorks diskettes to install the correct version of the Introduction to ClarisWorks.

Black and White Macintosh computers include the Macintosh Plus and Macintosh SE.
