If you save and close a ClarisImpact 2.0 document with a library open (on the same volume) that library will open when you open the document again. This is also true if the document and library are saved to a server.
However, the link is lost when the file is taken across platforms. For example, if you place a library on a server and save a document there with the library open using ClarisImpact Windows, and then open the file with ClarisImpact Macintosh the library will not open with the document. The same is true in the reverse (Windows to Macintosh).
To see this:
1. Place any library on a server.
2. Create a document and open the server library.
3. Save the document to the same location as the library.
4. Close the document and open it on another platform (Mac to Win or Win to Mac).
Note that the document opens without the library.
