Open Library Dialog Permits File Multi-Launch

This is an issue in ClarisImpact for Windows, which only appears if you are accessing the Open Library dialog.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

If a ClarisImpact document which is being stored on a server of some kind is opened, anyone else trying to access the file over the network should receive the message "File is already open."

However, there is an error in ClarisImpact for Windows. If the first person to open the file chooses File menu: Open Library and leaves that dialog box open, any of their open files or libraries can be opened by another person using ClarisImpact for Windows.

Exact steps to reproduce:
1. Use 2 PCs with access to the same libraries and ClarisImpact files on a server.
2. Launch on one PC and open a server file and a server library.
3. On the same PC, open the Open Library dialog.
4. Launch on the 2nd PC and try to open the same file and library from the server.

The files open instead of displaying the File already open alert.

Claris Development is aware of the issue.
