EGO stands for Equation Graphic Object. An EGO object is an equation from an Equation Editing Program. These objects, when double clicked on, open the Equation Editor, allowing you to edit and calculate equations like those used in Physics, Chemistry, and Math.
There are three ways to insert an EGO object into a MacWrite Pro or ClarisWorks 4.0 document
1. Insert a file that contains and EGO object.
2. Paste an EGO object from the Clipboard directly into a document,
3. Paste or insert an EGO object into a picture frame in MacWrite Pro* or into a graphics frame in ClarisWorks.
*When you paste an EGO object into an existing inline picture frame in MacWrite Pro, the frame is resized and positioned vertically, using the baseline offset information. A negative baseline offset in the picture information produces a frame that extends below the text in the line.
If the existing picture frame is not an inline frame, MacWrite Pro ignores the baseline information.
