Adding New Address Doesn‘t Check for Existing Names

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
When you click the plus button in an Inbox Item to add an address to the Address Book, Emailer checks if there is already a record for that email address, but it doesn't check to see if there is already a record for that person's name.

Therefore, if a person changes their email address, a new record will be added for them and you will still have a record for their old address.
