If you open a new ClarisWorks Word Processing document and change the
font, select a drawing tool, then save the file without any other typing, will
not cause it to retain the new font setting. This behavior happens only when
the only change is the font.
For example:
1) Open a new document. Set the font to the font you desire.
2) Select any tool on the palette. It doesn't matter if you create an object.
3) Close and save the document.
4) Open the document and begin typing.
You will find that the font will be the original default font, either
Helvetica or the font set in your stationery file, if you have one.
Workarounds:
1) Open a new document. Set the font to the font you desire.
2) Change another character setting, such as size or style.
4) Save the file.
OR
1) Open a new document. Set the font to the font you desire.
2) Type a space. The font of that space is now your selected font.
3) Move the cursor back to the beginning, to the left of the space.
4) Save the file.
