ClarisWorks: Supra‘s FAXcilitate Needs to be Upgraded to 2.x for Compatibility with PCI-based computers and System 7.5.3

FAXcilitate versions prior to 2.x have some difficulty faxing from "some" applications on a PCI-based Macintosh computers running System 7.5.3; one such application is ClarisWorks 4.0vX.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

FAXcilitate 1.7.x exhibits this issue. FAXcilitate 2.x is able to fax from those same applications. Supra is now recommending that users with PCI-based Macintosh computers running system 7.5.3 upgrade to FAXcilitate 2.x.
