How To Start your Computer Without Starting Windows 95

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.
1) Restart your computer by clicking the Start button, clicking Shut Down, and then clicking Restart The Computer.
2) When you see the message "Starting Windows 95," press the F8 Key.
3) If you want to load your Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files, choose Step-by-Step Confirmation.
4) If you want to skip your Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files and go to the command prompt, choose Command Prompt Only.
5) If you want to skip your Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files and go to the command prompt without network support, choose Safe Mode Command Prompt Only.

Note:
After you start your computer in MS-DOS, you need to restart your computer to start Windows again.
