Issue:
How do I click on a URL in FileMaker Pro and have it open Netscape and go to that URL?

Answer:
You can write a script in ScriptMaker, then attach a script to that field or you can set up a button next to the field labeled "Go to URL," which would run the script.

The script would have one step, Send Apple Event. After clicking on the Specify button, do the following:
1. Choose Other; Specify the Other Event
2. It will then come up with Specify Event dialog box. Type in GURL in both Event Class and Event ID. This is the Get URL event.
3. Select Field Value. A dialog box will come up listing your fields, you should choose the field where the URL is stored.
4. At the bottom, put a check in both options, Bring Target Application to Foreground and Wait for Event Completion Before Continuing.
5. Click on the Specify Application button and go to the folder where Netscape is stored (or other browser) and double click on Netscape.
