"Not Enough Space on the disk" error in ClarisWorks with Gateway Machine Running Windows NT 4.0 on a 2gb+ Drive

There appears to be a problem with some models of Gateway Pentium computers with hard drives of 2+gigs, running Windows NT 4.0 . While running ClarisWorks 4.0 customer have reported receiving a "Not enough space on the disk" error message.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

Problem:
There appears to be an issue with some models of Gateway Pentium computers with hard drives of 2 gb+ running Windows NT 4.0. While running ClarisWorks 4.0 customers have reported receiving an error message that there was "Not enough space on disk" to complete an operation.

Windows Explorer shows that there is plenty of space available, but running the Windows NT Diagnostics Report (Start:Programs:Administrative Tools (Common):Windows NT Diagnostics) shows 0 kb available.

Solution:
