When printing a spreadsheet larger than a page in ClarisWorks, the spreadsheet will split the information onto two pages, starting from column A, thus, leaving you with one half of your information on the first page and the other half on the second. This is especially noticeable when you have only a few rows but many columns. This will leave you with extra space below each portion of the spreadsheet on each page. What if you could put both halves of the divided spreadsheet on one page?
The following is a work around solution:
1. Go to your spreadsheet and view it in Page View. This will show you how many columns are divided between two pages.
2. Select the columns you want to move by highlighting them with the the mouse.
3. Go to the 'Calculate' menu and select 'Move...'. This is where we will designate the new location of the cells we want to move from the second page.
*note: You will want to designate a cell which is below the information on the first page.
The space below the information on the first page should now contain the information which was located on the second page.
For additional 'Moves', repeat steps 1 -3.
For more info on the 'Move...' feature in ClarisWorks, consult the chapter on Spreadsheets in your User's Guide.
