Out of Memory in ClarisDraw for Windows when Using a ClarisDraw for Macintosh File

An 'Out Of Memory' error message can occur when transferring a file from the Macintosh version of ClarisDraw to the Windows version if a Macintosh desktop picture is included in the file.

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

ClarisDraw for windows cannot import desktop images that are available in Mac OS 8 from the Macintosh version of ClarisDraw. The only available workaround is to create a paint frame in the original file on the Macintosh and to paste the desktop image into it. Once the file is moved over to the Windows platform the image will be visible.
