Claris Discontinues the Publication of the TechInfo Journal

Sadly, the November 1997 publication of the Claris TechInfo Journal will be the final to be issued. We at Claris have enjoyed publishing this periodical and have learned a great deal about our products while doing the research necessary to write the articles. We are proud of the fact that since the TechInfo Journal's inception in 1993, its articles have been helping customers get the most out of their Claris software. With the proliferation of excellent information via the Web, users groups, books and periodicals, the demand for the journal has fallen off. Consequently, we are discontinuing the journal after this issue.

For those customers who found the journal useful, we recommend four sources for your consideration:

1. Please visit the Claris Web site for answers to frequently asked questions and to gain access to the extensive software libraries used by our technicians to help find solutions. You will also find trial software updaters, templates, product news, technical articles, referrals for trainers and consultants, links to relevant sites, applicable books, and more. 2. For our FileMaker Pro customers please see the new FileMaker Pro Advisor magazine. Bob Cusick, Technical Editor, stated in the first edition, 'It's my job to help you get your work done through timely and accurate articles explaining the technical ins and outs of FileMaker Pro.' This excellent bimonthly periodical is ideally suited to both the Windows and Mac OS FileMaker Pro users.
