Power Macintosh G3 (Blue and White): AppleWorks 5 Redraw Issue

When using AppleWorks 5 to create a shape in a word processing document using the circle tool, if you move the circle to a different location on the page the circle doesn't seem to redraw properly, leaving trails all over the document. If you disable the ATI Graphics Accelerator extension, the redraw behavior goes away.
There is an issue with the ATI software installed on the Power Macintosh G3 (Blue & White) which can cause cosmetic redraw symptoms in AppleWorks, and possibly other applications. This issue is resolved in the ATI RAGE 128 Update 1.0, which is available on the Apple Software Updates web site.
