About the contents of the Important Extra System Software Folder.
This folder contains:
Read Me entitled "Important Extra System Software".
ATI Resource Manager
Battery Monitor
Modem Sound TuneUp
Mac OS ROM
Your computer came with all necessary system software already installed. However, if you use the Mac OS Install program on the PowerBook G3 Series CD to reinstall your system software you will need to install the items in the Important Extra System Software folder separately.
To install the extra system software:
1. After reinstalling the Mac OS, drag and drop the items from this folder on top of a closed system folder on your hard disk.
2. Click OK when asked to put the items in their proper location.
3. Restart your computer.
