About the NetBoot Image Pieces Package

This article describes the NetBoot Image Pieces package included in the installers of the iMac (Summer 2000), Power Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet), and Power Mac G4 Cube computers.
The NetBoot Image Pieces is for use with NetBoot clients that have internal Zip drives, such as the Power Macintosh G3 or Power Mac G4 computers. When updating the NetBoot image to work with these computers, be sure to select and install this package.

If you do not install this software, your other NetBoot clients will still start up from the NetBoot server, but they may not have software to access their Zip drives.
