I'm having a problem with the new MacX.

I was using a Macintosh SE with Extended Keyboard on LocalTalk going through
a GatorBox Box. The host was a SUN workstation; OS was 4.0

When doing Xterm or accessing an Xwindow based Oracle database, certain keys
didn't seem to be mapping -- A, D, M, and N. Also, numbers on the top of the
keyboard weren't being mapped, but the numbers on the side key pad worked fine.

What's the scoop?

If you logged on to the X Window-based Oracle database, it was changing the
sysenvir to tty mode. In our own test, we changed the Oracle profile so the
userid was TERM=PC. This solved the problem.
