I'm having a problem with the new MacX.<BR>
 <BR>
I was using a Macintosh SE with Extended Keyboard on LocalTalk going through<BR>
a GatorBox Box.  The host was a SUN workstation; OS was 4.0<BR>
 <BR>
When doing Xterm or accessing an Xwindow based Oracle database, certain keys<BR>
didn't seem to be mapping -- A, D, M, and N.  Also, numbers on the top of the<BR>
keyboard weren't being mapped, but the numbers on the side key pad worked fine.<BR>

What's the scoop?<BR>

If you logged on to the X Window-based Oracle database, it was changing the<BR>
sysenvir to tty mode.  In our own test, we changed the Oracle profile so the<BR>
userid was TERM=PC.  This solved the problem.<BR>
