Server Control API Framework

The Server Control API framework is shared with QuickTime Streaming server
Remote Admin CGI
(/System/Library/RemoteAdminServer/CGI-Executables/)
A lightweight pass-through process that is invoked by the web server and in turn transmits requests to the Web-Based Admin Server. It also receives the reply from the Web-based Admin Server and transmits it back to the web server, which then sends the reply back to the browser.
Remote Admin Server (/System/Library/RemoteAdminServer/FastCGI/RemoteAdminServer)
Handles authentication and majority of admin tasks.
Remote Admin Java and Image Files (/System/Library/RemoteAdminServer//Documents/)
Java classes are used for authentication and password encryption.
Log Files: There are two log files kept by the server: - The AFP server creates a log file at /Local/Library/AppleFileServices/AppleFileAccess.log and logs key events if the "Enable Log" preference is set in Remote Administration.
- The server error log file is located at /Local/Library/AppleFileServices/AppleFileError.log. This log is always enabled.
