Mac OS X Server 1.x: NetBoot Disk Images Have Extra 4 KB of Data

If you run Disk First Aid on the NetBoot disk images, it reports that files are damaged and can't be repaired.
Note: This article pertains to Mac OS X Server versions 1.x, which were released prior to May 2001.

The NetBoot disk images shipping with the Mac OS X Server have an extra 4 KB of data at the end of their data forks. This makes Disk First Aid complain about them. It does not affect the data in any way. Version 1.1 of NetBoot Desktop Admin automatically repairs the images.
