Known Issues
Issue The Apple Multiscan 720 Display may seem to only support 640 x 480 on some graphics cards, usually older cards.
Description The Multiscan 720 defaults to require a DDC-capable graphics card to recognize the display and determine its capabilities. Some third party graphics cards and older Apple machines (pre-G3 series) may not support DDC and will allow only 640 x 480, unless the workaround below is used.
Workaround The display can be configured with its front panel and onscreen display to disable DDC. When this is done, additional modes should be available on all supported graphics cards. A reboot is required after changing the monitors configuration.
