Note: This article pertains to Mac OS X Server versions 1.x, which were released prior to May 2001.
Try these solutions:
- Make sure you are entering your password correctly, using the same capitalization and punctuation that you originally used. If you still can't log in, log in as administrator and reset the password for your user account using Network Manager (open the Apple menu and choose Server Administration, then choose Network Manager).
- If you are using automatic login, temporarily bypass it by holding down the mouse button when you start up your computer. If you want to turn off automatic login, log in as the administrator, then open the Setup Assistant (open the Apple menu and choose Server Administration, then choose Assistant) and turn off the Automatic Login option.
