We have had a problem with A/UX and TCP/IP lines dropping. The problem <BR>
configuration was:<BR>
 <BR>
   IP: 192.31.38.69<BR>
   Broadcast : 255.255.255.0<BR>
   Netmask : 0<BR>

The resolution to the problem is with the configuration of the /etc/NETADDRS<BR>
file and the setting for the Broadcast address.  The corrected configuration<BR>
is:<BR>
 <BR>
   IP: 192.31.38.69<BR>
   Broadcast : 192.31.38.255<BR>
   Netmask : 255.255.255.0<BR>
 <BR>
With this modification all line drops will be eliminated.<BR>
