Mac OS 9 requires AppleShare Client 3.8.5 or later. This is the version of the AppleShare Client that is installed with Mac OS 9.0. Do not use earlier versions of the AppleShare Client with Mac OS 9.
AppleShare Client 3.6.5 is only provided on the Mac OS 9.0 Install disc for customers with an AppleShare Client version earlier than verson 3.6.5 who wish to perform a network install of Mac OS 9.0. Customers with a newer version of AppleShare Client should not replace it with AppleShare Client 3.6.5.
