Desktop Skills Tutorial: Sounds Are Distorted When QuickTime 5.0.1 Is Installed

Symptom

Sounds generated by the Desktop Skills tutorial are distorted.

Solution

Download and install QuickTime 5.0.2. There are two ways to do it:

• Open the QuickTime Player application.
• Choose Update Existing Software from the Help menu.

• Download the QuickTime 5.0.2 installer from the QuickTime Web page (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/).
