iTunes 2.0 and later can play some kinds of sound files that iPod cannot play. These file will not be copied to your iPod when you update your music library.<BR>

iPod cannot play sound files in these formats:<UL><LI>snd<LI>NVF (Nomad voice files)<LI>QuickTime<LI>mp2<LI>mp1</UL><BR>
iPod can play sound files in these formats depending on how they are compressed:<UL><LI>aiff<LI>wav</UL><BR>
iPod 1.3 and later can play mp4 (MPEG4-AAC) files.<BR></div>
