- Keep iPod comfy:
- Operating temperature range: 32 ° F to 95 ° F (0 ° C to 35 ° C)
- Storage temperature range: -4 ° F to 113 ° F (-20 ° C to 45 ° C)
- Do not leave iPod in a vehicle's interior when parked in the sun. Temperatures may reach up to 150 ° F (65 °C).
- Do not leave iPod exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
- Do not charge iPod while it is in a carrying case or cover.
- Put iPod to sleep to save battery life. Press the Play button until iPod goes to sleep.
- Charge the battery every 14 to 18 days when not in use. Even when iPod is off it is in a sleeping state that requires power. Without use, iPod's battery needs to be charged about every 14 to 18 days to be ready for use.
- If iPod displays a "Low Battery" icon, connect it to the Apple iPod Power Adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. You may also be able to charge iPod by connecting it to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on, and is not set to go to sleep.
