Mac OS X 10.2, iTunes 3: CD Burning at High Speed Fails

With Mac OS X 10.2, burning an audio CD or MP3 CD using iTunes 3 may fail if you burn at a high speed (such as 24x).

Symptom

Burning an audio CD or MP3 CD fails when you burn at a high speed.

Solution

Update to Mac OS X 10.2.1 or later. You may use the Software Update pane of System Preferences to update your software, or download the update from Apple Software Downloads (http://www.apple.com/swupdates/).
