iMovie 3.0: Dragging MP3 File From Audio Pane to Desktop Moves the Original File

Symptom

When you drag an MP3 file from the Audio pane to the desktop, the original file is moved to the desktop. iTunes no longer recognizes where the song is located.

Solution

1. Double-click the MP3 file to re-add it to the iTunes Music Library.
2. Drag the file back to the iTunes Music folder in your Home (~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music). Note: The iTunes Music folder may be in your Documents folder.
