How do you specify the file in which startup programs are listed?

The Autoconfig command's "-S" flag option puts a list of startup programs in
the specified file.

Example command line: autoconfig -S /etc/startups.list

This command line will cause Autoconfig to put a list of the startup programs
into the file /etc/startups.list.
