Every time I turn off my Mac Plus I lose the alarm clock setting. I am running System 4.0. Why does this happen?<BR>

  <div class="attr SUMMARY">
In a Macintosh Plus with System 4.0 and Finder 5.4, a set alarm clock functions<BR>
properly as long as system power stays on. If the system is powered down and<BR>
back up again, a quick check of the alarm clock reveals that the switch to the<BR>
alarm clock is turned off.<BR>
 <BR>
This does not occur under the previous system software, System 3.2 and Finder 5.3. You will need to upgrade to a more current version of the system software or revert to the previous version to correct this problem. <BR>
